Tip of the Week

Backroads travels within Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Western US, Rockies, East and South. Walk in Tibet; hike in New Zealand, bike through Vermont or California Wine Country; kayak or snorkel Costa Rica!

The trips break down to four levels of skill/exertion, so you can choose the trip that`s right for you.

Included in the packages are:

all lodging,

breakfasts, plus most lunches and dinners,

experienced leaders and guides,

van shuttles to allow for a variety of route options,

guided tours of museums, historic sites, wineries and other attractions,

park or campground entry fees,

fares for ferries & trains,

baggage transport,

and more!

There is a variety of bicycles- mountain/touring/childrens (with all the safety equipment) for rental.

The average size of a group is 18. The maximum number of guests allowed on walking trips is 14-20; and up to 26 on the biking and multi-sport itineraries.

There are trips designed for families, campers (with comfortable tents and sleeping bags all set up when you arrive from your hike/ride to the campsite), or they can arrange a private trip to fit your particular needs.

Tours start at four nights` duration on up, with most being 5 nights/6 days.
