Tip of the Week

Vacation locales are requesting the honour of your presence!

Many cruises are being redeployed; they are moving to what is considered safer (domestic) ports, and many are moving to depart from US ports to serve their potential passengers who don`t wish to fly.

There are one-time cruise schedules...the "repositioning" itineraries...not in brochures, not pre-sold...and deeply discounted.

Cruises are 2-for-1 during select dates with many cruise lines.

Hawaiian hotels are deeply discounted.

Resorts and luxury hotels in the Caribbean and Jamaica are at the lowest prices in years.

Las Vegas has some bottom-scraping packages. (The luxury hotels aren`t as deeply cut.)

Almost all of Europe is on sale, especially up to mid-April, the traditional off season. London recently discontinued museum admissions.

Disney, and Disney park area hotels are experiencing lighter than normal occupancy. Money vs. enjoyment strategy: either extend your stay/get a more luxurious hotel for a reasonable rate/or take your savings and buy cool stuff.

** Always purchase tour or cruise insurance...in case of emergencies, your investment may be protected. They may exclude "Acts of war/terrorism," but still have value against unforseen medical problems.
** Use a credit card for payment whenever possible. In the event of fraud/bankruptcy/service dispute the card company will be your best friend and advocate.
